”An Imperial Esther: Qallir’s Subversive Embrace of Byzantine Royal Representation,” where she discusses how the seventh-century Jewish poet Qallir interprets Queen Esther as a royal and subversive figure in relation to the Byzantine Empire.
- Dr. Barbara Crostini, Senior Lecturer in Church History, Art History and Cultural Studies, Newman Institute, Uppsala, and Docent in Greek, Uppsala University.
”Reading the Enigma of the Esther Painted Panel in the Dura Europos Synagogue,” where she addresses the painted panel depicting Esther in the synagogue at Dura Europos.
